Condition assessment

Condition assessment is increasingly being used to get an objective and structured overview of the condition and maintenance level of buildings, technical installations, and infrastructure. Our clients include companies, retail managers, cities and municipalities, educational institutions and care facilities, property administrators and owners, landlords, and operators. Buildings and technical installations, as well as the legal obligations they should meet are becoming more and more complex, making it increasingly harder to get an exact idea of the budget required for maintenance.

Condition assessment

A condition assessment answers a lot of questions and provides solutions for several issues, including the expected maintenance costs, the condition of the building and its technical installations and the resources required to maintain the building’s quality. Moreover, it gives an insight into the acceptable costs and the reliability of the installations and their parts.

Depending on your specific situation, we can offer different types of condition assessments. A baseline assessment following the very first inspection or the completion of the construction works or a quick scan when you are looking to buy or lease a building, or set up a specific installation in this building, or when you want to check whether your maintenance contractors are carrying out their work correctly and professionally.

Condition assessment

A more detailed condition assessment is required if you want to find out the condition of the entire building and its installations, and have a multi-annual maintenance plan drawn up. We carry out all condition assessments according to a set measurement and registration method in accordance with the NEN 2767 standard. The registration is done by a certified inspector and provides a clear system to objectively, transparently, and reproducibly assess the maintenance and physical quality of buildings, installations, and infrastructure, as well as their parts.
